Earth's Guardians

Links are provided below

There are Earth Guardians located all over our planet and out in space.  They are pushing stranded whales back out to sea, conducting research in universities, tromping through rainforests gathering data, testing groundsoils for toxic pollution, studying animal and insect behavior, lobbying for environmental protection laws, collecting seeds for seed banks to ensure species survival, cleaning up toxic spills, taking core samples of glacial ice, working in medical clinics in war zones, studying Earth from space, removing invasive species, researching new methods for alternative energy sources and sustainable living, diving deep into the depths of the ocean, tracking poachers of endangered species, restoring natural ecosystems, working for ethical social and environmental justice, feeding the hungry, dedicating themselves to world peace, and on and on.  There are people out there on the front lines, and in many cases risking their lives for all of us and for future generations.

On our pages you will find links to academic institutions, government environmental agencies and departments, and other resources throughout our website, where you can find a vast amount of information and subject-related links to environmental programs and educational information.

Below we have listed but a few of the many, many groups organized throughout the world committed to protecting and preserving the environment and biodiversity, guarding against unethical and illegal practices which cause harm to the environment and species, providing humanitarian assistance worldwide, and promoting a peaceful and sustainable world.

Visit their websites where you will find current news and educational information.  Learn about their activities, and offer support where you can...either by becoming a supporting member, volunteering to help, or by donating money to help support their efforts.   The good works that they do are helping to preserve life on this planet!  Let them know how much you appreciate them.

We regret this list is very incomplete.  We will keep adding to it as time permits.  These websites provide important links to other organizations and groups they work closely with, where you will find related information.  Many more links may be found throughout our website and in the resource directories.   It is our belief that none of the above-listed organizations are exploiting natural resources, species, the environment, or our fellow human beings.
Please email any findings to the contrary to www@eco-pros.com
