Where did we come from...

Evolution or Creation...or a combination?

As you investigate the various subjects and websites related to biodiversity of life on Earth, you will come across information related to the origin and age of the Universe and Earth, the "Theory of Evolution" and the "Creationist Theory." Years of impassioned debate and heated argument over the origination of species continues between the "evolutionary" and the "creationist" proponents.
Some examples of beliefs:

Evolutionary theory (theories):
- sponges were the most basal group that must have laid the foundation for all animal life to follow (gene sequencing research of Evolutionary Molecular Biologist Mitch Sogin).
- human beings evolved from primates (Great Apes: chimpanzees, gorillas, orangutans)
The genes of all organisms carry clues to their evolutionary history --
a unique set of acquired genetic changes passed on through countless generations.

Creationist theory: human beings, the Earth and the universe were created by God.
